Precision Gun Drilling Services
MED-KAS provides precision gun drilling services to customers in a wide range of industries including aviation, military, agricultural equipment, and machine tool. Flat bottom, angle, intersecting, cross-cavity, blind, or thru-holes can be drilled up to 72" deep with an accuracy of .003 in/ft. Diameters between .250" and 2.00" can be drilled in steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, copper, or titanium alloys as well as a variety of plastics. All tooling and fixturing is built in-house to precision tolerances, enabling us to handle a variety of projects, including valves, for all major manufacturers.
Complete dimensional inspection of the depth and hole size is performed in our quality control lab. In addition to drilling, we have finishing capabilities that include anodizing, plating, surface grinding, and assembly. We specialize in responsiveness to customers’ needs and offer rush services, with a typical lead time of 5-8 weeks. All work is performed to the highest ISO compliant quality standards and meets all applicable Mil-Spec requirements.
